Power Guide is a training aid and training protocol that helps to keep mature adults more mobile and helps prevent falls.
It's best to follow the protocol which is 2-3 days a week and never 2 days in a row.
Power Guide is appropriate for anyone who is able to stand up from a chair under their own power. If the individual needs assistance in standing please consult a member of our team at [email protected]
If an individual can stand and sit under their own power without the fear of falling it's safe to be used unsupervised.
Power Guide Training System includes a the training aid itself, directions for level 1 and level 2 training and the Power Guide functional sit to stand test.
It is appropriate to advance levels when the individual is capable of being in a seated position with the Power Guide in place, can extend both hands and has the power to stand up.
